Welcome Dr Michael Zhang

Dr Michael will start practising at Heathmont General Practice in late June 2025.  Dr Michael enjoys all aspects of general practice with a strong focus on chronic disease management and preventative medicine.  Dr Zhang completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, followed by a Doctor of Medicine at Deakin University. He holds a Fellowship with the RACGP. Dr Zhang is also fluent in Mandarin. Outside of general practice, Dr Zhang enjoys spending time with his young family and is a proud father to a young son. He also enjoys playing snooker and staying involved in his local community.  With Dr Michael coming on board , we are looking forward to having more appointments available both in the long term and on the day!
